PakMarkas is the first in the Eastern European region to assemble in production Du Pont Cyrel FAST® mass production line of polymer moulds outstanding among alternatives with its two essential advantages: - Non-exposed polymer waste is disposed of not in washing solvents or water but is collected with a special absorbing wipe which can be disposed of as solid waste (without polluting water, no organic solvent vapour is released into the environment, the working environment is cleaner and healthier);
- The production process is on average three times shorter than the traditional process using polymers washed with solvents just because when washing (to be more precise, removing the monomer) the polymer does not swell and you do not need to dry it.
Besides, mould production does not involve negatives – the process is fully digitalised, i.e. the imprint in the mould is engraved with the laser (CTP – “computer-to-plate” technology). This technology became a standard and is practically inseparable from high-quality flexographic printing. Due to it flexographic printing achieves really high image resolution (175 lpi). Pakmarkas uses the state-of-the-art Esko-Graphics CDI Spark XT laser-engraving equipment.
