Lithuanian packaging and marking solutions company „PakMarkas“ is proceeding with the investments planned for this year and is acquiring the new label printing equipment from the Italian company “Omet”. It will be installed in February next year and will cost 3 million Litas for the company.
Having installed the modern label printing equipment, “PakMarkas” will be able to offer its clients the labels of even higher quality in a shorter period of time, the exploitation costs will also be reduced, as the new equipment will be marked with higher flexibility and easier compatibility as concerns printing of various labels.
“By investing into the cutting-edge label printing equipment we benefit not merely for our business, but for the environment as well. This investment will permit more than 4 times lesser reduced quantity of production waste, both water-based and UV-induced polymerized ink will be used for printing”, - says Ronaldas Vaitiekűnas, director of “PakMarkas” marketing department.
The new equipment will lead “PakMarkas” to even more speedy completion of orders placed by companies producing various goods of food industry and other consumer commodities, as the employed system of printing cylinders sleeve saves twice on the average the time necessary for preparation of the new order.
“With the new equipment installed we will actually be able to print on any material starting from the very thinnest synthetic wrap to thick cardboard. Our clients will have a rich choice as regards labels and packaging on various materials. This will be of great use for drink companies, butchery businesses, for those gaining competitive advantages in the market with innovative unhackneyed packaging and labels”, - says R. Vaitiekűnas.
Recoupment of the investment into the new label printing equipment is figured for the period of 3-4 years. This investment is part of the investments into the cutting-edge technologies scheduled for this year by “PakMarkas” and exceeding 4 Mio. Litas amount. End of June „PakMarkas“signed contracts of 1,35 Mio. value investments for purchase of the unique “Du Pont” “Cyrel FAST” printing forms production line and BARCO laser engraving machine with the latest software installed. |
