PakMarkas signed the investment contracts of the value of 1,35 million at the end of June

At the end of June, "PakMarkas", the leading Lithuanian company of packaging and marking solutions, signed the investment contracts of the value of 1,35 million, under which the Lithuanian company will acquire the unique production line of printing forms "Du Pont" "Cyrel FAST" and BARCO laser engraving machine with the cutting-edge software.

UAB "PakMarkas" signed the contracts for equipment supply with UAB "Abrosa", the Lithuanian representatives of the world chemical industry company "Du Pont" and Belgium company "Esco-Graphics".

The new "Du Pont" and "Esco-Graphics" equipment will grant "PakMarkas" competitive advantages by enabling not only a faster and better accomplishment of orders, but also the performance of those with the manifestly reduced detrimental effect to the environment. Being the first one in using the latest technologies the company is planning to expand the circle of clients not only in Lithuania and Baltic States, but in other eastern European countries as well, as for the moment no company in this region acquired such equipment.

Manifestly reduced pollution

"We will be able to faster fill the orders, experience no problems with utilization of solvents and purification of disposable air, be more effective – we will be able to perform more jobs with less people. With the 3 shifts working at the rival companies we will suffice one", - says Ronaldas Vaitiekűnas, "PakMarkas" marketing director.

According to his words, "Du Pont" "Cyrel FAST" equipment of production line of printing forms is revolutionary. First of all, it will increase the productivity – the form production process is shortened from 2 hours to 45 minutes, that is almost three times. This equipment is also most eco-friendly in comparison to any other alternative flexographic form production in the world. Eco-friendly work within this business is of great importance, for it needs a lot of resources to manage the chemical waste formed after using older equipment.

Waited for several years

"Already since several years we have been closely watching the development of these technologies and waiting for the solution satisfying our needs. We were unwilling to make investments into eco-unfriendly solvent-washable polymer technology, while we had no other alternative”, points out R. Vaitiekűnas.

Thanks to the investments into the most advanced technologies, according to the conviction of the marketing director of the company, UAB "PakMarkas" will turn into best technologically equipped company not only in the Baltic States, but also in the whole eastern Europe.

The new "Du Pont" and "Esco-Graphics" equipment will be installed in the company already in September of this year, and the recoupment of the investment should come in 3 years. In line with this investment "PakMarkas" has planned to allocate a total of 4 million Litas for modernization and development of production this year.
