PakMarkas First Quarter Turnover - 8.75 Mio litas

PakMarkas, the Lithuanian company of labeling and packaging solutions, recorded the turnover of 8.75 million litas in the first quarter of this year, which is 4.6 per cent more as compared to the same period last year when the turnover amounted to 8.36 million litas.

“During the period from January to March, we focused more on the appliance of investments made last year as well as the preparation to implement large equipment sales projects, the number of which now is bigger than last year”, says the Marketing Director Rolandas Vaitiekűnas, “major contracts accelerate in spring and proper preparations are to be made.”

In general, PakMarkas plans a 15 per cent turnover increase in 2004. The increase this year will be mostly stimulated by a growing demand for packaging and labeling solutions. With 4 million litas investment into new technologies last year, this year PakMarkas will introduce new trailblazing packaging and labeling techniques that consumers will be presented in the agricultural exhibition AgroBalt 2004 as soon as May.

PakMarkas turnover reached 41.9 million litas in 2003 and was 8.6 per cent larger than in 2002.
