Package forming, filling and sealing machines are divided into two groups:
- machines for vertical packing intended for packing various loose, granular, powdered products into bags. These machines can have weight-type, volume-type or helical batcher depending on product to be packed - powder, granules of loose products;
  
- machines for horizontal packing ensure high productivity, high-quality and airtight packing, which protects the product against atmospheric influence. Usually they are used to pack the following: various food products – cheese, cookies, sweets, meat products etc., office supplies, cosmetics, pharmaceutic products and many others.
