 These electric motors are similar to the standard ones except the distance to the shaft centre, which is much smaller than that on the standard electromotors of that same power. This is very practical and convenient, when using them in wood-processing machines (e.g., disk-type saws), because the lower centre allows the maximal use of the disk cutting height, etc.
 Low-center electric motors:
- size — 48 to 80;
- power — 0.18 to 9.2 kW;
- RPMs (number of poles):
- 3000 RPM (2 poles);
- 1500 RPM (4 poles);
- 3000/1500 RPM (2/4 poles);
- protection class IP 54 or higher;
- body — aluminium or cast iron;
- insulation class F with thermal reserve;
- insulation class H (may be ordered additionally).
The electric motors may be single-phase and 3-phase ones, they may have AC or DC brakes. |
