The labels for fruit and vegetable packages play the dual role – they usually present information on composition and weight of the product, and they serve as the promoting means. These labels are distinguished by their extreme toughness, therefore, the special materials are used for their production – the laminate made of the longitudinally-oriented polypropylene (OPP) and the heat-sensitive paper. The advertising picture is printed usually on the OPP, and the heat-sensitive paper is used for printing the varying information by means of printing devices using the thermo-transfer printing technology.

The bands for fruit and vegetable packaging are usually the sole advertising object attachable to the package. Additionally, the bands serve as handles for package carrying, therefore, they are made of the longitudinally-oriented polypropylene (OPP), and their thickness may vary in accordance with the weight of the package to be carried.
