These machines are intended for packing dry and granulated products into paper, plastic, polypropylene etc. bags. Weighting can be either „gross“ – the machine is filling the product into a bag and weighting simultaneously, or „net“ – at first the product is weighted and then filled into a bag. Closing of these bags can be done by sewing or welding using automated or manual method.
